Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between African wax print grades?

Three main tiers: (1) Super wax — 100% cotton, double-sided print, high thread count, crisp hand feel, highest price. (2) Java / fancy print — lighter fabric, single-sided, everyday wear, mid-market. (3) Block print — lowest cost, simple patterns, mass market. Target market determines which grade you need. West Africa (Nigeria, Ghana) buys super wax. East Africa buys more java. I know which factory does which grade.

Can I do custom fabric designs in small quantities?

Yes. Digital printing allows runs as small as 100-200 meters with your own design. For screen printing, MOQ is higher (2,000-5,000 meters per design) but the per-meter cost is much lower. I can connect you to the right printer based on quantity and design complexity.

Do textile factories in Linqing handle the full garment production?

Some do cut-and-sew in-house, but most focus on fabric and outsource garment assembly to specialized sewing workshops nearby. The supply chain is tight — fabric mill to sewing line is often within 15 km. I can coordinate both ends so you get one price and one contact.
